The LinkedIn Jobs Scandal!

Aug 15, 2020 | Jobs |

At a time when there is an unprecedented number of job seekers on LinkedIn, the potential for fraud via fake jobs is greater than ever.

It is an absolute scandal that LinkedIn allow anyone to post a job under the name of any company on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn Job Advertising

Above is the video version (linkedIn live post) of the scandal of being able to post a job with any company, whether you work for them or not!

Patrick asked about the problems he was having tagging people on LinkedIn mobile.

Here is my answer

Tagging can be a bit hit and miss for all of us but this does seem like a specific and consistent issue for you. I can’t replicate it myself so I guess it must be a fault with your account or something new they are testing…which leads me to my main point. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are testing removing the ability to tag the author of a post in the comments because they will always be notified of your comment anyway, whether you tag them or not (same goes for a reply to a comment, the original commenter will be notified). So, if I have understood you correctly, it might be something they are rolling out.
