Interesting stuff I saw this week

  •  LinkedIn Buys Run Hop, Seeks to Make Feeds More Engaging
  •  LinkedIn help refugees find jobs in Sweden
  • Why I Write On LinkedIn – And It’s Probably Not Why You Think I Do

This week’s cool things are 1Password and Dashlane. Store all your passwords, PIN codes, documents, credit cards and more. Automatically log in on every website and every device.

This week’s question comes from Paul Copcutt via voicemail who’s asking if there’s an issue with the formatting of a published post on LinkedIn.

Here are the images Paul sent me of the issue:

How it looks when editing.

How it looks after publishing.

How it looks when he went back into editing.

Final result.

The answer Paul received back from LinkedIn read as follows:

“If I understand you correctly you are facing issue with formatting a publishing post on LinkedIn. As per the screen shot you have provided, I can see that you are trying to remove additional spacing:
To add feed new lines into the post I would recommend you to use SHIFT+Enter instead of just Enter.”

That did appear to work.

That’s it for this week, please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions you would like me to answer on the show.

Have a great week.

Thank you so much for listening. I value your support and interest.

Help me to promote the podcast

It can be difficult to get noticed in iTunes and one thing that can really make a difference is reviews. If you enjoy the show please take a minute to write an honest review in iTunes, it would be most appreciated.

If you are not sure how to write an iTunes review I have made a short video demonstrating how this is done.
